Questions about Etsy + Renewing

I am wondering if anyone has a set budget for renewing listings on etsy, and if it helps to renew (besides renewing your already sold products)

How often do you renew?

At what times of day do you renew?

I have recently jumped on the renewing my merchandise however it has brought in views, 1 or 2 sales but I have found that once I received that sale i turned around and had to use it to pay etsy bill.. so I really didn't see a big profit.. I've recently have been picking an item a day and promoting it through twitter and facebook.. However my day goes by fast.. good luck on your sales and I will be interested with the answers your receive!

I was renewing daily in July, and got two sales. I am still renewing this month, but not everyday and I've been selling the ones that I have been renewing. So I guess there is some good that comes out of it, and I have yet to hear from others!
